Hi! Im Louisa
Lover of cosy crafting, eating ice cream out of the tub and hugging people!
I live in Leamington Spa, right in the middle of the UK with my husband and two littles who are rapidly growing bigger than me (I'm only 5ft)!
I've been making things for as long as I can remember, as a child my love affair with the humble toilet roll middle and PVA glue knew no bounds!
I settled on textile crafts in my late teens and studied Textile design specialising in Embroidery at university.
I worked as an interior designer for over 10 years before rediscovering my love for embroidery during an illness in 2018.

Making your world
I remembered how much I loved making things and had the idea that maybe, just maybe I could do this for a living. I started small literally on my kitchen table.
After a lot of hard work things started to take off and today I'm pinching myself that I get to craft for a living! (plus admin, marketing, accounts etc etc.!!)
We now sell craft kits, patterns and supplies for modern makers all over the world so that you can discover the joy of making things for yourself.
Stitch Happy is all about sharing creativity with others and I get so much joy when people send me pictures of their makes. Please send me your makes on Instagram, I would love to share them, or if you just fancy a chat I'm there for that too!

I feel so lucky to have worked with and written for many amazing magazines including Mollie Makes, Love Embroidery, Simply Stitching, Making Magazine, and In her studio. I absolutely love creating tutorials and teaching others to stitch through my work with these magazines.
Stitch Happy products have also featured in countless print and online magazines and blogs, and I'm eternally grateful for all the love shown to our products through the years from publications such as The Observer Magazine, Real Homes, Cosmopolitan, The Guardian, Buzz Fee and Marie Claire

How our craft kits are made
All of our craft kits are handmade by our small team in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire right in the heart of the UK. By keeping our production in house we can ensure the quality and ethics of our products. We also kind of enjoy the satisfaction of wrapping all of your goodies up in our goegeous patterned tissue paper and posting them off to you!
