Embroidery is a fantastic mindful craft and people have been stitching for centuries. Using cotton embroidery thread or embroidery floss you are simply stitching patterns and designs onto a cotton on linen backing cloth using different types of stitch with a metal embroidery needle. A wooden embroidery hoop is needed to keep the fabric taught so that your stitches sit flat on the fabric.

Embroidery is great for creating wall art pieces as well as decorating clothes and accessories such as hats and bags.
